NewGenLib Development Team to develop more ILMS Drivers for Vufind

NewGenLib development team is all set to develop more ILMS drivers for Vufind. In the developing world libraries find it difficult to switch to a better ILMS. Also the libraries might be comfortable using their traditional ILMS. However users will be expecting a better OPAC. Hence NewGenLib team will develop MARC21 export tools and Drivers for these legacy ILMS. The library can continue using their ILMS, library users will have a pleasant Vufind OPAC.

NewGenLib vufind integration ends

NewGenLib Development team has completed the development of NGL – VuFind integration module. All the necessary tools and files will be hosted at sourceforge.net by 28th July 2010.
